Prawdziwy rowerzysta deszczu się nie boi, musi się jedynie dobrze przygotować na spotkanie z przeciwnikiem. Zazwyczaj orężem w tej walce są wszelkiego rodzaju peleryny, kurtki i spodnie nieprzemakalne. Przed deszczem można na rowerze chronić się inaczej - wręcz klasycznie - czyli pod... parasolką.
Na popularnym serwisie aukcyjnym można kupić specjalne ramię, za pomocą którego przymocujemy parasolkę do kierownicy roweru. Specjalny wysięgnik posiada przeguby, dzięki którym bez problemu dobierzemy właściwą pozycję parasola.
