Jak dobrać ramę do roweru dla dziecka?

Z uwagi na duże zróżnicowanie wzrostu i możliwości fizycznych dziecka nieco inaczej podchodzimy do problemu doboru ramy do rowerów dziecięcych.
Poza samym rozmiarem ramy dochodzi tutaj istotna kwestia wielkości kół. O ile w rowerach "dorosłych" też możemy wybierać między kilkoma wielkościami kół (26", 27,5", 28", 29") to w rowerkach dla dzieci jest to związane przede wszystkim ze wzrostem, a nie z preferencjami.
Klasyczny rower górski na kołach 26" lub miejski na kołach 28" będzie odpowiedni dla dziecka, która ma co najmniej ok 150 cm wzrostu. Wtedy możemy wybrać najmniejszy rozmiar ramy dla dorosłych (14", XS)
Wszystkie dzieci mniejsze powinny wybrać rower na mniejszych kołach. Dla dzieci w wieku 9 lat - "komunijnym" w większości przypadków odpowiednie będą rowery na kołach 24", gdzie mamy do dyspozycji ramy w rozmiarach: 11", 12", 13", 14" i 15". Niestety niektóre firmy nieco różnie wyliczają ten rozmiar, stąd nie są one do końca porównywalne. Najlepiej będzie przymierzyć "na żywo" rower.
W przypadku najmniejszych rowerów o kołach 12", 14" czy 16" trudno mówić o wielkości ramy - są zazwyczaj produkowane w jednym rozmiarze.
