Rowery Merida Ninety-Six
Linia rowerów Merida Ninety-Six jest przeznaczona do jazdy sportowej typu XC/Maraton. W 2012 roku Merida wprowadziła linię Ninety-Nine, która stopniowo będzie zastępowała Ninety-Six. Dlatego jeszcze równolegle można kupić oba modele.
Linia rowerów Ninety-Six została wprowadzona w 2008 roku a jego nazwa odnosi się do skoku zawieszenia wynoszącego w przypadku tyłu 96 mm. Przedni widelec posiada 100 mm ugięcia. Rower ten jest wyczynowym modelem do uprawiania wyścigów typu XC (Cross-Country) oraz maratonów rowerowych i był on do 2011 roku używany przez zawodników Merida Team w Pucharze Świata.
Tłumik tylny jest umieszczony pod górną rurą ramy. W modelu Ninety-Nine zmieniono jego położenie, przenosząc go wzdłuż rury podsiodłowej.
W 2012 roku w Polsce były oferowane dwa modele linii Ninety-Six na ramach karbonowych z napędem 30 rzędowym:
- Ninety-Six CF 1200-D (osprzęt SRAM X.9, widelec Rock Shox Reba RL DA 10) - 11.200 zł
- Ninety-Six CF XT-D - (osprzęt Shimano XT, widelec FOX 32Float RL 100) - 10.000 zł
W 2011 roku były oferowane cztery modele linii Ninety-Six, z czego dwa na ramie karbonowej, a dwa na aluminiowej:
- Ninety-Six Carbon Team-D - 25.000 zł
- Ninety-Six Carbon 2000-D - 10.000 zł
- Ninety-Six 3000-D - 9000 zł
- Ninety-Six 1000-D - 5000 zł
